General terms and conditions of sale


The present general conditions of sale regulate the legal relationship between the Spa Marin du Val André and/or the Villas du Spa and the client (staying at the Spa Marin and/or the Villas du Spa and/or external)


All reservations will be effective upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay as stated in article XIV. Any written reservation not accompanied by the payment of a deposit, when requested, is considered null and void. As soon as we receive your reservation form with the deposit, you will receive a written confirmation by mail or e-mail.


Our rates are established according to the legislation in force at the time of the reservation. They can be modified according to the evolution of the latter. Our rates are inclusive of all taxes, except the tourist tax. All our prices are expressed in euros and are subject to change without notice. Half-board rates are expressed without drinks. The extras (food, drinks, telephone, care, shuttle,...) are not included in our rates. Except for special promotional offers, the applicable rates are those listed in the price brochure, in effect at the time of booking. Each program and/or package indicates the services included.


Additional services not consumed and not reported to the planning 24 hours in advance will be charged and cannot be reimbursed. The program of your package may be modified or interrupted due to the advice of our practitioners, or the need for a medical consultation, or the decision of the management. In this case, the treatments initially planned will be replaced by services of at least equivalent nature or value. The management of the site reserves the right to interrupt any service, package, treatment or program of care if the behavior of the client, his attitudes or his words come to disturb the clientele, or the practitioners, or the employees.


The medical visits are made at the initiative of the client in application of the principle of free choice of doctor. A medical certificate of fitness to follow a thalassotherapy cure is recommended for any program of 4 days or more. In the absence of a medical examination or a non-contra-indication, a medical discharge will be requested before the beginning of your treatment. For the record, the contraindications to a thalassotherapy cure are infectious diseases, acute inflammatory diseases, acute cancers in the course of treatment, major or recent acute cardiovascular diseases not stabilized by treatment, dermatoses, unhealed wounds, endocrine diseases (thyroid) not stabilized by treatment, psychiatric disorders.


Some treatments are not suitable for pregnant women (massages, foot reflexology, lymphatic drainage, hydromassage baths, affusion showers, jet showers, underwater showers, jacuzzi, hammam, hydrojet, gymnastics and possibly aquagym). Pregnant women are advised to consult their doctor before booking to ensure that there are no contraindications to the treatment program selected. In any case, it is preferable to indicate a pregnancy at the time of booking and to provide a medical certificate of pregnancy monitoring and of no contraindication. An adapted program could then be proposed. The Spa Marin du Val André cannot be held responsible or involved in any disorder, problem or inconvenience of any nature whatsoever that may affect the fetus or the pregnancy.


The thalassotherapy center can welcome autonomous persons with reduced mobility, provided that they are able to access the facilities (in a bathtub, on a massage table, in the pool,...)


Minors (of clients staying at the Marine Spa) are allowed access to the Fitness Area accompanied by a parent and under the supervision and responsibility of the parent from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Access is governed by the terms and conditions that you will find at the reception desk. The rest of the institute is forbidden to minors under the age of 16. Thalassotherapy treatments at the Marine Spa are accessible to all teenagers (under 16) accompanied by one of their parents and under the supervision and responsibility of the latter. No body treatment can be performed without having completed an authorization and a signed parental release. In the case of cabin treatments, the presence of one of the two parents in the cabin is necessary. Children between the ages of 16 and 18 are allowed in treatments.


Pets (only cats and dogs) are allowed in the common areas of the Spa Marin du Val André and/or the Villas du Spa Marin (rooms, apartments, corridors, halls) provided they are kept on a leash in the establishment and the immediate surroundings. However, they are not allowed to enter the restaurant or the treatment center. Any damage and/or soiling will be billed directly to the owner.


For hygiene reasons, plastic sandals must be worn (available on site). In addition, it is requested that the curists bring two bathing suits (swimming shorts are forbidden), and a gym outfit and take a shower before accessing the pools.


All hotel packages are half-board and do not include drinks or any additional services that the client may wish to take advantage of during his stay (telephone, laundry, etc.). Rooms are available from 3:30 pm and must be vacated by 11 am. Access to the restaurant, the bar and the reception is forbidden with a bare shirt and/or bathing suit. Bathrobes are not allowed in the restaurant during lunch or dinner.


(located approximately 300 meters from the Marine Spa. Your apartment will be available from 5 pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of your departure. Keys will be handed over at the reception of the Spa Marin. In case of late or delayed arrival, clients must inform the reception. The number of occupants indicated on the reservation form must not be exceeded. If the number of occupants is exceeded, the residence may charge an additional fee. An inventory of fixtures and an inventory will be given to you at your arrival; any reserve of "dysfunction or technique" will have to be announcedAny reservation of "malfunction or technical" must be reported to the reception desk before noon the next day at the latest, or within one hour after arrival, in case of problems with the cleanliness of the premises. A final inventory of fixtures will be made by our services, after your departure. Any failure or degradation will be retained or invoiced to you. On the day of your departure, the apartment must be left clean, dishes put away, garbage taken down and sorted. Clients must respect the rules of the residence. The conditions of access to the fitness center and the Espace Forme are posted in each residence. In case of early departure, clients will not be able to claim any refund or compensation.


In the case of force majeure, in particular any disaster affecting the site as a whole and whatever its origin (fire, flood, interruption of the electricity supply, act of public authority, hostilities, war, act of the Prince, natural disaster...The parties shall make every effort to prevent or reduce the effects of non-performance of the contract caused by an event of force majeure.The party wishing to invoke an event of force majeure must immediately notify the other party of the beginning and end of this event, otherwise it will not be relieved of its responsibility.


Hosted cure and/or external cure - Payment of a deposit at the time of reservation: 30% of the amount - Balance of the services due on arrival. The amount of services includes all treatments, packages, "hotel formula" or "residence formula" services. The various additional services must be paid in full at the reception desk, before the client's departure. In the packages, the services ordered but not consumed are not refunded. No deduction will be made for services not used. Days and nights not occupied or reserved are non-refundable and do not shift the departure day. Otherwise, HMC Hotels can re-let the premises 24 hours after the scheduled arrival time, without indemnity or refund to the first client. For the customers in the residence formula, we ask for a 400 deposit on arrival which will be returned after the final inventory of fixtures, possible deduction made for the cost of replacement of the missing or damaged objects, cleaning andThe deposit will be returned after the final inventory of fixtures, after deduction of the cost of replacing missing or damaged items, cleaning and repairs required to restore the premises as soon as possible and within a month after your departure, in case of a report requiring the intervention of an outside company. Stays offered and prepaid are not refundable.


Any modification made by the client in relation to the initial reservation must be the subject of a written message from the client specifying his new requests. It is subject to an express written acceptance by the Spa Marin.


You can benefit from a cancellation and/or repatriation assistance insurance through your bank card, credit card or civil liability insurance. Please contact your bank, insurance company or broker for more information. These cancellation or repatriation assistance insurances are not managed by HMC Hotels. If you do not have this type of coverage, we offer you the possibility of taking out cancellation insurance.


Any cancellation made up to 15 days before the beginning of the stay will result in the reimbursement of the deposit minus a 30€ handling fee.If the payment of the second deposit is not made within 15 days before the beginning of the stay, the entire deposit will be lost.


The computer processing of your file allows you to have a right of access, rectification and withdrawal of information concerning you in accordance with the law "Informatique et liberté" of January 6, 1978. HMC reserves the right to inform you by electronic mail, called "emailing" or "enewsletter" of commercial opportunities and possible promotions. You have the right to refuse to receive this information by email. If you do not wish to receive this type of communication, please inform the reservation department.


Any complaint must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. It must be accompanied by proof of payment and must be made no later than 15 days after the client's departure. After this period or in the absence of proof, no claim can be taken into account. In the event of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable agreement, any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the headquarters of HMC Hotels.


These conditions are subject to change without notice. They will be confirmed at the time of your reservation.
